Vis island was a military zone by the end of 80' and it is supposed to have landmines. How dangerous is to visit island's interiors using in some degree off road paths as well?...

Now days Vis island's major source of income is tourism, but only 25 years ago, when the island was a protected military zone, agriculture was the main economic source of revenue. That was a period of an intense productive activity in Vis interiors and villages located in that area. Back then villages Podstrazje, Poselje, Podspilje, Podhumlje, Zena Glava, Plisko Polje and Marine Zemlje counted with a far larger population than today.
